Commercial oyster-mushroom fruiting kit; kit instructions; clean spray bottle; tray; gloves; thermometer or room-condition log; ruler; camera; dated observation sheet.
03 · Practice

Observe the block and identify substrate, mycelium, and fruiting area.

Read the kit directions and assign setup, misting, and logging roles.

Open or score the kit only as the manufacturer directs.

Place it in the recommended indirect light and temperature range.

Record daily moisture, size, color, odor, and visible changes.

Harvest only when the kit directions indicate and document the yield.
