02 · Preparation
Materials
Clean reclaimed containers; yes/no evaluation checklist; drill or punch for facilitator use; potting mix; approved seed or plant; scoop; watering can; labels; exterior-safe decoration supplies.
03 · Practice

Sort containers into suitable, needs modification, and unsafe groups.

Check the selected container's history, cracks, edges, and stability.

Mark drainage positions and have a competent adult make the holes.

Clean, dry, and stabilize the container before filling it.
- 5
Add mix, plant at the correct depth, water, and label.
- 6
Complete a final drainage, tipping, edge, and readability check.
