Adult extension of: Dance Party in the Garden

The end-of-year celebration becomes a structured adult wellness session combining choice-based movement, rhythm, garden observation, social connection, and a calm transition.

Materials

Accessible outdoor area; speaker; participant-informed playlist; seating; shade; water; visual agenda; movement choice cards; scarves or rhythm props; timer; personal routine card.

03 · Practice

Adult project

  1. 1

    Preview the agenda, sound level, break area, and participation choices.

  2. 2

    Begin with seated or standing breath and range-of-motion movements.

  3. 3

    Offer one slow, one rhythmic, and one participant-choice song.

  4. 4

    Pause for a quiet garden observation or short mindful walk.

  5. 5

    Return for a social or individual movement choice and cool-down.

  6. 6

    Build a 10-minute personal routine using preferred elements.
