Pillor is built around preserving intention, not creating another giant productivity system.
Choose the one thing you are trying to accomplish right now.
Take an intentional detour without losing the Main Anchor you need to return to.
Capture a thought for later instead of abandoning the task already in progress.
Select actual apps installed on your phone. Switching between approved Work Apps does not count as wandering.
Pillor offers a few short, optional, on-device suggestions based on your Main Anchor.
Switch to a brighter, simpler presentation with Mission, Quick Quest, Save for Later, and Take Me Back wording.
Because Pillor is not yet on Google Play, Android will ask you to approve installation from the browser or file app you use to download it.
Pillor v0.10.0 was hardened specifically before outside testing.
Main Anchor, Side Quest, Parking Lot, breadcrumb, and chosen Work Apps remain in Pillor's private local app storage.
This beta contains no analytics SDK, no advertising, and no task/app activity logging.
The beta does not request Android INTERNET permission and does not send task context to a server.
Pillor does not request broad QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES access.
Pillor is configured not to retrieve screen content and uses app/window state changes for its drift reminder feature.
Pillor's private preferences are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer where supported.
Do not use Pillor during proctored exams, secure testing, or in services that prohibit accessibility services, overlays, or automation. Do not include passwords, confidential student information, medical information, or financial account data in beta feedback.
The most useful feedback is whether Pillor actually helped you return to what you intended to do—and what felt confusing, annoying, or unexpectedly helpful.
